Southampton Heritage Trust Buses Bugle St Heritage Day 9/9/17

Southampton has been holding a Open Heritage Day on 9th September 2017 & again on the 10th with various events happening across the City and Southampton & District Transport Heritage Trust provided 3 of their buses to transport people to Woolston, Bitterne and into the Docks to visit the SS Shieldhall Steamship and other attractions. The old buses which used to be a familiar sight in Southampton are seen in this video traveling along Bugle St & High St towards their various destinations around Southampton. The first of the buses to leave from Bugle St was a Leyland Altlantean (TTR 167H - 133) which was in service from new in March 1970. Next bus to leave Bugle St was a AEC Swift MP2R (JOW 499E) a single decker new in service from May 1967. Last of the buses to leave Bugle St was an AEC Regent V (BTR 367B - 367) which was in service new from October 1964.
