Spectrum of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's first Quantum Ultra-Class ship and is set to launch in the spring of 2019. According to Royal Caribbean, the class will be "the next evolution" of its Quantum Class. Quantum class is the third largest class of cruise ships in the world.
