St Thomas Day 2 Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas Southern Cruise Coki Sapphire Beach Drake Seat

Carnival Cruise Platinum members trying our first Royal Cruise!!! We tried to do a similar itinerary twice but Hurricane Maria and the Covid cancelled them both and Carnival doesn't do this itinerary anymore. First day and first stop. We've been to St Thomas before but the first time for our kids. We realized we rented a car at the wrong cruise port so be weary, but they fixed it and we took a cab to the airport to grab a rental car. And they drive on the other side there! Fun! We drove across the island and stopped for beer, drinks and snacks and ended up at Sapphire Beach. We got free parking and walked right to the beach. Mostly swimming and beach life although a couple of us did snorkel. After that we went for some convenience store lunch and to Coki beach. Was $5-$10 to park there but a nice spot on the beach and more snorkels and stuff. Little island tour after to Drake's Seat and the lookout, then to the airport and port. Fun times on the ship and a show to round out the night! All video done by iphone or GoPro.
