Staying at the Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam for a Cruise
YouTube Video Description↓
Sharing this roaming experience for the benefit of our viewers, particularly those who might be looking for a place to stay before a cruise in Amsterdam. We decided to stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam because it was right beside the cruise port where we would be hopping on our Holland America Cruise on the Rotterdam. There are other cruise lines that leave from this area, too, like Norwegian Cruise Line and Viking River Cruises. Even though it was pricier than other local hotels, about USD$340+tax for one night, we wanted the convenience of just walking down a few steps to the cruise terminal without worrying about time or catching a ride. After enjoying the hospitality of the hotel, the nice room and great views, we were greatly satisfied with our choice! Mövenpick Hotel provided us a spacious and neat room with great views, a coffee machine, complimentary water, and great AC! The hotel also has a decent workout room with saunas. The hotel bar is also quite pleasant with very friendly bartenders and great local beer, wine and other common spirits. Nice place to relax and talk to other travelers. We did not try the food in the hotel, but we heard it was good. Beside the hotel is a bike shop, in case you'd like to rent a bike to travel through Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Centraal (Central Station) is a 10-15 minute walk (depending on your pace and if you have luggage or stop to take pictures of the scenery). There is also a rail that stops by across the street from the hotel (T2) I think, but still requires a 5-6 minute walk. Enjoy this “silent video”, which we hope will give you some good insights if you’re considering this hotel for your stay. Let us know if you think we should create one with a narrative. :) If you appreciate these kinds of videos, please like and subscribe. Comments are much appreciated, too! Thank you!
