Puerto Plata surprised us in the best way! While exploring the shops at the Taino Bay cruise port in the Dominican Republic, we stopped to sample some Casa Tequila rum… and it was WAY better than we expected. We liked it so much that we grabbed a bottle and took it back to the ship. Later that night we opened it in the cabin and gave everyone a round or two of shots so they could see for themselves how good it was. Sue and Will from the SuenWillTraventures YouTube channel joined us along with our friends James and Pam for the tasting. Now here’s the funny part… Keith doesn’t drink alcohol. So the fact that he actually took a couple shots tells you everything you need to know about this rum. It MUST be good! Free didn’t partake though. Her definition of not drinking means she cannot stand the taste of alcohol, so there were no samples for her.
