Welcome to our Tarragona, Spain Travel Vlog! 🇪🇸 In this video we're exploring the beautiful city and its incredible ancient Roman Ruins. If you're planning a trip to Catalonia, this vlog showcases a fantastic city break destination! Tarragona is a beautiful city in Catalonia, just an hour south of Barcelona. It was originally a major Roman city called Tarraco and has some of the best-preserved ancient Roman sites in Spain, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We were surprised that the tourist sights weren't too busy, which meant we could relax and explore Tarragona at our own pace. There are so many things to do here! We spent our time exploring the amazing Roman sites including the Amfiteatre de Tarraco overlooking the sea, the Circ Roma (Roman Circus), the Praetorium and the Roman Forum. Other sites worth seeing include the vibrant Mercat Centrale (Central Market) and the Balcó del Mediterrani viewpoint. Tarragona is one of our favourite places in Spain. We really enjoyed visiting the sites of the Roman city of Tarraco!
