Creator's Key Takeaways

If you're going on a Virgin Voyages cruise, definitely try to get menu B, even menu C.

Test Kitchen, definitely go to do not go the first couple nights for menu A. That's not good. But we were definitely wrong on how great it is.

Second thing, get ready for a fun evening at Scarlet Night.

These desserts slapped. Really, this whole meal was amazing.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Try menu B or C at the Test Kitchen instead of menu A.
Pair the Test Kitchen experience with a drink package for an elevated experience.
Wear something red for Scarlet Night and participate in the pool deck party.
Don't miss the show that starts in the area between deck 6 and 7 on Scarlet Night.
If you take your shoes off at the pool, don't lay them underneath to avoid getting soaked.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We finally went back to the test kitchen as our last experience wasn’t our favorite. We realize how wrong we were because this time the food was AMAZING! We got option B this time, our initial experience was option A and everyone we’ve chatted with all said this wasn’t a great menu. Option B though was sooooo goood. Not one bad dish and all delicious. We also did one of the drink pairing with it which we highly recommend doing for a more elevated experience. To clarify, the service was impeccable both times, it was just the food we didn’t enjoy the first round. We like that there is an option for people with Gluten or Celiac allergens for each course as well as non-meat eaters. On longer sailings there is also a “C” option which they had on our cruise but we didn’t get to experience it, maybe next time we can plan it out to try that menu. After a delicious meal we headed to Scarlet Night to dance the night away. It’s always so fun and the energy is through the roof. Luckily the weather was good so we got to be outside again. Last cruise the weather wasn’t great so they did adjust their show into the Red Room. It’s a great back up option but getting to experience this on the pool deck is a whole other level. We can’t recommend Virgin Voyages enough and if you have any questions about the cruise, food or looking for help finding the perfect Virgin Voyages itinerary for you don’t hesitate to reach out.
