Creator's Key Takeaways
This might just be our favorite visit to this Western Caribbean island yet.
We spent about $80 per person on the Shore Excursions Group to do this and I would do this again.
I honestly believe that Kato sushi is better than Azumi on Royal Caribbean.
The entertainment is still way better than what we thought it would be here on MSC.

Our FIRST EVER MSC Cruise continues as we dock in one of our favorite Western Caribbean ports for an unforgettable Day 5 in Roatan, Honduras! This episode is packed with island adventure and incredible wildlife encounters that truly made this our best visit to the island yet. We start the morning by heading to a local animal sanctuary where we get up close and personal with vibrant macaws and playful monkeys, and we even get to fulfill a bucket list dream by hanging out with some very photogenic sloths! After our animal encounters, we dive into the local flavors of the island with a stop at a chocolate tasting store followed by a delicious rum and rum cake tasting. To wrap up our time on land, we head over to the stunning West Bay Beach for a unique glass-bottom boat experience to see the world-famous Roatan reef without ever getting our feet wet. The excitement follows us back onboard the MSC Seascape; which is currently the cheapest seven-night sailing out of Galveston, as we head to Kaito Sushi for a specialty dining experience. We give our full, honest review of the rolls and the atmosphere, and we even discuss how this compares to Izumi on Royal Caribbean to let you know if this is a "must-do" specialty restaurant for your next sailing. We then head to the Chora Theatre to catch the "Love Blooms" production show, which offered a completely different vibe than the previous nights. To cap off an incredible day, we join the high-energy crowd in the four-deck atrium for another massive ship-wide party. Whether you are looking for the best things to do in Roatan or curious if the cheapest cruise from Texas is actually worth it, this vlog has everything you need to plan your own Western Caribbean getaway. #MSCSeascape #MSCCruises #MSCCruise #CruiseVacation #CruiseTravel #TravelCouple #CruiseShip #Roatan #MSCSeascapeGalveston #CruiseTips #CruiseVlog We took a 7-night cruise aboard MSC Seascape in January 2026.
