I always want to show up positive and inspiring but this month has felt heavy and quiet and if I waited until I felt “ready” there simply wouldn’t have been a video. I start with a very honest chat about why I’ve been feeling deflated and struggling with the new year, missing the UK, and finding the house far too quiet now Ryan and the kids are back at work and school. Some days just feel lonely and flat and that’s hard to dress up. Instead of staying stuck, I decided to take small steps to try and feel like me again. I meet my friend Rachel in Cannes for a good workout, followed by a slow city stroll through the sunshine, market and sea air. We stop for a drink and just soak it all in. No big fixes, just moving my body and getting out of my own head. Back home I share a little self care parcel with Epsom salts, bentonite clay and supplements which felt like such a January gift. I cook nourishing food, take a garden centre stroll and spend time clearing and cleaning the garden after winter. Simple things that gently lift the fog. This video is about small steps, not overnight transformations. If you’re feeling low this January, you’re not alone and you don’t need to have it all figured out. And a huge thank you for lifting my spirits right at the end when I realised we hit 20,000 subscribers. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more supportive community. Thank you for being here 🤍
