About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

This was my first cruise in 1983 on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s brand new ship, The Song of America. This ship was state of the art back then and held just over 1,500 passengers, which was quite large for the time. The video quality back then was not the best but it gives you a good idea of what the ship looked like compared to what they are like today. The ship is now 38 years old and is still in service roaming the Greek Islands for a different company. During this cruise we sailed to Bahamas, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas US Virgin Islands, which was its normal 7-day cruise route for many years, sailing out of the Port of Miami.
