The Villages Florida, What's Happening in August 2024

This video highlights what is happening inside and outside The Villages in August 2024. It provides information on upcoming events such as Grovestock which is the 55th anniversary celebration of Woodstock at Sawgrass Grove. Also, there is the monthly Cruise-In and the College Spirit celebration for the start of NCAA football season. We go outside The Bubble for two indoor activities. First is a tour of the Howey Mansion with a lunch stop at Mission Inn. Second is the Florida Aquarium which is a great excursion to have with your grandchildren. Charlie and Jennifer Pryde have lived in The Villages for four years and in Central Florida for eighteen years. Our main activities in The Villages are biking, fitness parks, pickle ball, platform tennis, golf and swimming. We love to travel throughout Florida, the United States and internationally. Our Youtube channel’s focus is on promoting a physically active lifestyle for mature adults, but we will also indulge ourselves in a good restaurant, bakery or watering hole that we find during our travels.
