This is the 3rd episode of theCruiseView's sailing onboard the Ovation of the Seas. Unlike my other videos that feature the ship and let you enjoy the experience of being at sea without interruption, theCruiseView is a guided tour of the daily happenings during the cruise. This sailing features a return to the class that started it all with another Quantum Class ship and another inaugural, with her 11 night sailing to the Alaska. Over the course of these 11 episodes you will get to see in detail every cruise compass, every main dining room menu, and all the happenings onboard during this lengthy voyage. This series will take you into the day to day experience of being onboard the Ovation of the Seas with over 4,000 guests to experience every moment of life at sea and every festivity along the way. On today's episode we're going to be taking a look at our second day at sea as we make our way north towards Alaska. As the sunset we made our way into the first Alaskan waters of the sailing. We also had our first ship spotting of the voyage with a handful of ships passing in the night as well as the first whale spotting during the day. With the rare sea days on this Alaskan voyage the cruise director plays a more valuable role than most Alaskan cruises and today I got to sit down with Chris Brown to learn about the challenges of running a lengthy transpacific crossing as well as the future that lyes ahead.
