On day 5 of our Riviera Travel Gastronomy of Switzerland and the Rhine River Cruise we arrived in Strasbourg, France we got to experience two destinations. In the morning took an excursion from our berth in Speyer to Venningen, where we got to experience the Weinessiggut Doktorenhof Estate Vinegar Tour. We got to discover how vinegar is made and its medicinal benefits as well as tasting a selection of vinegars. This was something we were apprehensive about, but it was an incredible experience and one we are happy to recommend. In the afternoon we set sail for Rüdesheim and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of scenic sailing on the Rhine. In the evening we enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal followed by visiting a bar in Rüdesheim. Although we were invited on by Riviera our thoughts and opinions are our own.
