Wow! What an exciting day! Today is actually the day we are leaving the Walt Disney World Resort and flying to Disneyland in Anaheim, California! It is a travel day, so no exciting Disneyland park adventures yet, but we still had a super fun day! Our day started by checking out of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and heading over to Disney Springs for the most delicious brunch at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’! Seriously, if you haven’t been here and you like farm to table style homecookin’, this place is a must! Then we spent some time milling about Disney Springs and eventually grabbed a bus to Wilderness Lodge to relax and enjoy the beautiful resort. Afterwards, we took a quick boat ride back to the Contemporary Resort to wait for our Disney Magical Express Bus to the airport! We have never used the Disney Magical Express Bus Service before but we were very happy with it! It was a comfortable and easy ride! Also, a convenient aspect of this service is that they drop you off right in front of your terminal, so it is easy to navigate. We departed from Orlando International’s Airport (MCO) and flew on Delta Airlines, which we have alway had a positive experience with. Even though I (Chelsy) have a fear of heights/flying, there’s no denying the beauty of the sunset view we were privileged with during take off! Before you knew it, we were in LAX! We took our Super Shuttle to Paradise Pier, took a quick look at the lobby and our room, and then went to bed exhausted after a long (but fun) day of travel! We finally made it here! Now it’s time to start the real fun tomorrow!
