After weeks of exploring France in our motorhome, this vlog takes a different turn — we make the decision to head back home. It wasn’t part of the original plan, but sometimes van life means listening to your gut and changing direction. We share the full journey north, looking back on the highlights of the trip — from wandering medieval towns like Biron and Beynac, to drifting through the caves at Gouffre de Padirac, and discovering the underground church in Saint-Émilion. But this time, instead of another stop, we keep driving toward Calais with one thing in mind: the ferry back to the UK. There’s something bittersweet about those last miles in France. We show what it’s really like to pack up, check in at the port, drive the motorhome onto the ferry, and cross the Channel. The cameras keep rolling as we finally arrive back in England and drive the last stretch to the lodge.
