My bags are packed, and I'm ready to see what the Royal Pacific’s Club Level has to offer. I’ll be giving a full tour of the room and resort, along with my thoughts on the Club Level amenities. Later, I'll also take you along to Halloween Horror Nights, where I’ll be experiencing some of the event’s most popular haunted houses. I use Orlando Transportation by Mike for the ride. Upon arrival at the Royal Pacific, the atmosphere is wonderfully Polynesian-themed. My room is already prepared, so I’ll show you around and highlight some of the Club Level perks. After settling in, I meet up with my friend Richard for Halloween Horror Nights. He’s new to the experience, and I’m excited to share how he finds it as a first-timer. We start with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, a house that's big on immersive theming but relatively mild on scares – a great introduction for Richard. We’re rating each house on both the Scare-o-Meter and Theming Scale, and tonight’s line-up features some of the best houses of the event. As we navigate the park, we’re also enjoying some seasonal treats. The Surreal Soda I try is refreshing, and the classic Pizza Fries never disappoint – perfect fuel for a night packed with frights. Our final house is Insidious, which definitely tops the Scare-o-Meter tonight. This house pulls out all the stops with intense scares and fantastic set design, earning top marks on both scales. We also visit the Tribute Store, where Universal has gone all-out with incredible attention to detail. Each room is packed with Halloween Horror Nights merchandise and memorabilia, making it a must-visit spot for fans of the event. With the haunted houses complete, we reflect on the night and what makes Halloween Horror Nights such a fun experience.
