Creator's Key Takeaways

It's a beautiful river cruise. So follow along and let's see what we see.

I am in love. Anyone who hasn't been here needs to see this at least once in their lifetime.

This will be lovely for seven nights. I'm going to enjoy this.

It's 25° in Paris today in October. I think that's unusually warm, but I am enjoying it.

YouTube Video Description

Cruise on Uniworld from Paris through Normandy’s countryside, uncovering its many charms: Château de La Roche-Guyon, the medieval capital of Rouen, Monet’s beloved home in Giverny and the famed Normandy beaches. Tour the majestic palace of Versailles, once home to Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. See the best of Paris in one of three ways: via panoramic tour, a bicycle ride along the Seine, or a walk through the Latin Quarter with a local guide. My 2 favorite excursions were the home of Claude Monet - his original furniture, beautiful gardens - it was inspiring. Normandy was heart wrenching but I am so glad I saw this. Susan's comments: The Pro's: experencing some truly spectacular cities. My room was very comfy, though I recommend a room with a balcony. I arrived 3 days early so I got a chance to spend time in Paris. The Con's: You may experience FOMO - fear of missing out. Excursions are planned for each day. The bus ride to Normandy was 3 hours. Exhaustion set in, but if you are not at the gangway at 8am you may feel like you are missing out! The timeline for this cruise was tight and you have to have tons of energy, and the will do the walking, climbing etc. Plus it is a small ship so the bar is the only place to pend time other than your room. So consider carefully is the itinerary is a good match to your strengths. 🔔If you find my travel content helpful, become a subscriber: https://www.youtube.com/c/SusanatEscapes?sub_confirmation=1 👍And hit that Like Button!
