UTOPIA OF THE SEAS, NEW ROYAL CARIBBEAN CRUISE SHIP - WHOLE SHIP TOUR & INSIDE LOOK

This video offers a 5-minute snapshot look at the brand new 6,700 passenger Royal Caribbean cruise ship Utopia of the Seas. It's the second biggest cruise ship in the world (after Icon of the Seas) has 5 pools, the longest dry slide at sea (the Ultimate Abyss) and even a TRAIN on board (albeit a virtual reality one!). It's called the Royal Railway and is one of a kind and a first on a cruise ship. I try out the water slides - although I don't get on the surf simulator or climbing wall! It is SO LONG the ship that I decided to time how long it took to walk from one end of the ship to the other - the answer is 3.5 minutes! And then I do try out the 10-deck Ultimate Abyss, the longest dry slide at sea. I am terrified and this video has POV footage of me coming down the slide. Apologies for the squealing! Then the video moves to the ship's interior, looking at the Solarium as well as the new style of Solarium Suite named after it. These Solarium Suites have the same view as the Captain's - a 270 degree panoramic view. It's amazing. While the boardwalk, its carousel, Central Park and Aqua Theatre are not new to Royal Caribbean, there ARE a few things which ARE new and my film features them all. These are: 1. The new pub - the Bell & Barley 2. The new poolside food truck 3. The Pesky Parrot tiki bar - I try a fabulous cocktail called 'PAINCHILLER' - watch to see what I think 4. THE ROYAL RAILWAY - yes there is a train station on board Utopia and I got a chance to ride it. I've done a whole video on this if you want to watch this in more detail. Of course it's a Virtual Reality train, but it's incredibly realistic! My train took me to the Wild West, food and all! All cruises on Utopia of the Seas will leave from Port Canaveral in Orlando and are short voyages - either 3 or 4 days. So it makes sense to do a pre or post cruise stay and I went to Orlando for a few nights to visit Universal's theme parks (Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios) ride a couple of rollercoasters and visit the stunning Wekiwa Springs State Park which has natural cool springs - a bonus in the hot summer! All cruises on Utopia of the Seas will stop in Coco Cay island in the Bahamas. My video's final features the godmother of the new ship - popstar Meghan Trainor - performing for the guests.
