it is a little more involved than any other port i've ever been to but i still wanted to see what i was in for
so it's the one euro 50 exact change to take the bus from number four from the terminal to downtown
i just found out that there is a red bus from this terminal if you walk a little bit that direction and it's bus number four for one euro 50 one way
we were a little bit worried about the bus connection but we picked it up exactly where they dropped us off there was no problem at all

Valencia Spain Travel Tips For CRUISERS : ππ Some transportation details have changed since this video. Watch my updated guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq2yjiKpFaQ Valencia Spain Travel Tips For CRUISERS : ππ Taking a public bus from the Valencia Cruise Port area is easy. This video helps you figure out how to get to the city center from the cruise terminal! The main focus is on how to take a public bus for 1.50 euro (exact change), that drops you off near the Cathedral and the historic part of downtown, Zona Centro Historico. This is 4.5 km from the cruise terminal and is accessed by bus number 4. This is only one of the ways you can see Valencia, Spain on your own. **Royal Caribbean provides a bus to the downtown area every 30 minutes directly from the dock , outside the ship for 10 EUROS. I am not sure where it drops off. I wanted to venture out and see how a public bus works and what the city is like. One of my Valencia Spain Travel Tips would be to start early. The city has a lot to see and if you start late, you won't see much! The bus ride is about 35 minutes each way and runs every 15 minutes. Valencia Spain is a modern, busy city where Paella was invented. There are some old buildings, squares, tapa bars like another Spanish city, but I would have to say this is more of a living city. It has about 792,000 people and is known for its city of Arts and Sciences. There is a planetarium, oceanarium and interactive museum. There is a park called Turia Park, that is car-free and cuts through the whole city. Here you can run, walk, bike, have a picnic or work out in designated areas. This is a bike friendly city with no hills! You can rent a bike for the day, but again, with the minimum time you have, my Valencia Spain it may not be enough time. A travel tip would be to make a decision on what you'd like to do.....will it be a museum day, a park day, a shopping and restaurant day, a historic old down day etc. There are so many directions to go, it's a good idea to narrow it down! Bus #4 drops you off in the Ciutat Vella district, near the Plaza Reine which has the Valencia Cathedral and lots of Plazas with shopping and food. We enjoyed just looking around and found a coffee shop for wifi. It was such a brief visit, but it was enjoyable. The bus is easy and efficient. The bus driver will tell you where to get off if you ask him. You catch the bus exactly where you get off! It's easy and because we were at Docks 1 & 2, we took another free bus from the ferry terminal to our Wonder of the Seas Royal Caribbean Ship. Good luck and enjoy your time! Maybe you can find even more than I did! Leave early! Happy Cruising!
