There were three cruise ships in Southampton today 27th July 2018 they were the Cunard Ships QUEEN MARY 2 & QUEEN ELIZABETH along with P&O Cruise Ship VENTURA. Between them on departure they all gave a grand display of exchanging ship horns with each other. The first ship to depart was the P&O Cruise Ship VENTURA from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at about 17:26pm fro a 2 Night Cruise to St Peter Port, Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Then she was followed by the Cunard Cruise Ship QUEEN ELIZABETH from the QEll Cruise Terminal at about 17:53pm as she manouvered away from her berth she began to move towards town quay where she then manouvered round to have her stern facing the QUEEN MARY 2 which was in the Ocean Cruise Terminal waiting to sail then QM2 began to blow her horn in salute to QUEEN ELIZABETH then shortly after that QUEEN ELIZABETH began to reposition herself to sail to Rotterdam to began a 14 Night round-trip Baltic Cruise (Q822A). Last to make her departure was the Cunard Ocean Cruise Liner QUEEN MARY 2 from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at about 18:15pm she sailed on a 7 Night one way trip to New York, Cape Liberty.
