VILLA VIE ODYSSEY First Impressions

Several companies have tried to successfully implement a residential cruise ship project in recent years, but ultimately failed. Villa Vie Residences is another company that wanted to launch a residential ship. There were many doubters about this further project. But this new company finally managed it after overcoming many difficulties: their ship VILLA VIE ODYSSEY has been put into service! Villa Vie Residences had acquired the BRAEMAR (IMO 9000699) from Fred. Olsen Cruises at the end of 2023 and had it extensively renovated at the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast since April 2024. There were repeated delays, which led to a delayed start again and again. It remained exciting right up to the end. Even after all the work had been completed, the first voyage could not be undertaken because the official handover by the shipyard had not been completed. The VILLA VIE ODYSSEY therefore had anchored off Belfast for a few days. On October 3, 2024, the VILLA VIE ODYSSEY was finally able to set sail for her first  voyage and set course for Brest. A three-year trip around the world is to begin there. The concept is to offer travelers a life on board. The cabins can be purchased or rented.
