From there, we dive into some of Salt Lake City’s must-see attractions. We tour the stunning Utah State Capitol, perched high on Capitol Hill with amazing views of the city. Next, we head to Temple Square, the historic heart of downtown Salt Lake City, known for its architecture, gardens, and rich history. No visit is complete without a stop at the Great Salt Lake, one of Utah’s most unique natural wonders. Of course, we never miss a chance to check out the local food scene. We grab delicious seafood sandwiches at Freshie’s Lobster Co., then finish things off with legendary Mexican food at Red Iguana 2, a Salt Lake City favorite known for its famous moles and bold flavors. If you’re RVing through Utah or planning a stop in Salt Lake City, this trip is packed with ideas, great food, and easy-access attractions—all perfect for RV travelers. Temple Square is the historic heart of Salt Lake City and one of the most visited destinations in Utah. Its history began in July 1847 when Brigham Young and the first pioneers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. Young selected this site for the construction of a temple just days after arrival. Construction of the Salt Lake Temple began in 1853 and took 40 years to complete, using hand-cut granite blocks hauled from Little Cottonwood Canyon. The temple was finally dedicated in 1893 and remains an iconic symbol of the city. The 10-acre Temple Square is enclosed by historic stone walls and features several notable buildings. The Salt Lake Temple, with its six soaring spires, dominates the square and is one of the most recognizable religious structures in the world. The Tabernacle, built in 1867, is famous for its unique domed roof and exceptional acoustics and is home to the Tabernacle Choir. The Salt Lake Assembly Hall, a Gothic-style building, hosts concerts and events. The Church Office Building stands nearby and includes an observation deck with panoramic city views. Temple Square also features beautifully maintained gardens, fountains, statues, and visitor centers that showcase the history, beliefs, and pioneer heritage of the Latter-day Saints. 👉 Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and follow along as we keep ramblin’ around the country! #rvlife #rvliving #saltlakecity #utah #templesquare Our Equipment: GoPro5 : https://amzn.to/3W706JP GoPro10 : https://amzn.to/3JoNRRt Nikon Z30 : https://amzn.to/4d2bOvo Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra DJI Mini 2 Our Software and Subscription Services: https://share.epidemicsound.com/cyumoq Adobe Premier Pro Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator 🎉🎈🥳Please subscribe to our channel to stay in touch so we can share what we are up to!🐕🌋🌅 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYptpWdN5KNCq5pwdvGNrhQ?sub_confirmation=1 Website: www.justramblinaround.com Facebook: Just Ramblin Around Instagram: @justrambinaround Email: jrawithronandjodi@gmail.com Hi Ramblers!
