This was a portion of our light rail S2 train ride from Warnemünde where our cruise ship docked to Rostock. The train was red with gray trims. The ride was about 8 stops before we got to the Rostock Hauptbahnhof (central station, labeled Rostock Hbf). We were visiting Rostock on a SPB tour, and were later going to Schwerin via another train. If you were going to Berlin DIY, this is the train you would take to get to Rostock and then a connecting train to capitol of Germany.
