We got to be in Universal's Mardi Gras Parade! This was one of the coolest things we've ever done inside of a theme park and we had a fantastic time. During the Mardi Gras season, Universal allows guests to assist in the parade by being the bead throwers on each of the floats. There are three ways you can get onto a parade float: by reserving your spot via the Annual Passholder advance registration (sold out for 2023), by joining the virtual queue that releases daily at 3pm or by purchasing the Float Ride and Dine package. The Ride and Dine package is $85 per person (15% discount available to passholders) and includes a 3 course meal at one of four different Universal restaurants and a guaranteed spot on a parade float! We made our reservation in advance when the Annual Passholder registration opened up, but we highly recommend you try for the virtual queue or purchase the dining package because the experience alone of riding a parade float was AWESOME!
