A beautiful Saturday in March with temps in the low 80s at Silver Springs State Park in Ocala Florida. We had two tandem sit in kayaks with paddles, life vests and shuttles back to start point. Cost was $161 for 4 people. It is a 5.5 mile trip to Ray Wayside State Park, which is where the shuttle picked us up. You can take your own vessel and launch for a nominal fee. And reserve the shuttle ride back or you can arrange your own transportation back to start point. We saw monkey in the first 5 minutes of the trip. Rest area is at the 2 mile point.
