Hi Everyone, I’m Bob with Bucket List Cruise and Travel. There has been a big change in the world of world cruises. First of all, as a 2019 World Cruise traveler and cruise lover, everyone should put a world cruise on their bucket list. . A world cruise will take you literally around the world in as little as three months and you will get to experience and see so much of the outside world while unpacking your suitcases only one time. You will surround yourself with with a thousand or so like minded travelers who are also on a quest to see as much of the world as their time will allow. Even the crew onboard is excited to sail on a world cruise. That's right, even the ship's crew love to travel on a world cruise We sailed on a full world cruise in 2019, the last year that world cruises completed their journey before the world as we know it changed. It was an amazing experience for us and as cliche as it sounds...that trip changed our lives. I will go on about our trip in future videos as there is just so much to share and tell you about. Leading off today is a big announcement from Crystal Cruises. Crystal Cruises has unveiled its 2022 Grand Voyage, the 132-night “Caribbean Idylls & Mediterranean Masterpieces,” which will sail from Miami to Los Angeles on Crystal Serenity. The Caribbean Idylls & Mediterranean Masterpieces itinerary will take place on the 6 star rated, 980 passenger Crystal Serenity in 2022, setting sail from Miami on January 17th and completing its voyage in Los Angeles on May 29th. The grand voyage will call at 82 ports in 32 countries and will include 11 overnight port calls in cities including Istanbul, Monte Carlo, Naples and Cannes, as well as St. Barts, Madeira and the Canary Islands among others. Overnight calls on a cruise are just awesome. You will get to experience so much more with your time ashore with an overnight call. This sailing will also include a full transit of the Panama Canal. This new Grand Voyage replaces the line’s 2022 World Cruise, which was cancelled because many countries on the original itinerary remain uncertain in their ability to welcome guests back at this time, the line said. The sailing also offers guests with more limited time the option to choose from 11 cruise segments ranging from nine to 16-nights. Or you can combine multiple segments to accommodate your schedule and what you desire to see along this voyage. There will be some less visited ports of call that have also been included on the itinerary, including the San Blas Islands, Panama; St. Croix, in the USVI; Ile des Saints, Guadeloupe; Cagliari, Sardinia; the Cape Verde Islands; Syracuse, Sicily among many others. Reservations for the 2022 Grand Voyage will be open to 2022 World Cruise booked guests whose world voyage was previously cancelled for an exclusive 10-day booking window from September 14 - 23 and the remaining cabins will be offered to the public on September 24, 2021. So if you were not booked on the original 2022 World Cruise on board the Crystal Serenity, and if a 2022 world cruise remains on your bucket list, then September 24 could be the day for you and your travel dreams. You will need to get in contact with your favorite travel professional if you would like a chance at securing a cabin on this voyage. I believe that cabins are going to sell out again in record time on this one. After departing Miami, the Grand Voyage will head for the Caribbean and visit Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao before heading on to Costa Rica. Designed to follow the sun, the ship will visit the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean in springtime and beyond. The Crystal Serenity requires all guests who are eligible for the vaccine to be fully vaccinated. Guests 12 and older must be fully inoculated with a COVID-19 vaccination at least 14 days prior to departure for all 2022 ocean voyages including those guests embarking in Miami. One hundred percent of Crystal’s officers and crew fleetwide will continue to be vaccinated in 2022 as a requirement for employment. Now, this itinerary is not being considered a world cruise or sold as a world cruise, but as a 132 day grand voyage. Is a grand voyage of this magnitude suitable as a replacement for a world cruise? Let me know in the comments below. Do you feel confident that this ship will sail on this replacement voyage? Do you feel confident enough in the world of travel to book this voyage for yourself?
