I nearly didn’t do this… 😅🐊 The Everglades has always been one of those places on my list, but if I’m honest, alligators are one of my biggest fears. Like proper heart-racing, “no thank you” fear 😳 But Chris desperately wanted to do an airboat tour while we were near Everglades National Park from Fort Lauderdale… and I am SO glad I said yes 💚 Because wow… it was incredible. 🌿 The Everglades is actually a slow-moving river, often called the “River of Grass”🐊 It’s one of the only places in the world where alligators and crocodiles live side by side🐦 There are over 350 species of birds, so there is always something to spot🚤 And yes… the airboat ride is as fun (and fast!) as it looks I won’t lie, I was a bit on edge at first, constantly scanning the water 👀 but once I relaxed, it turned into one of those unforgettable travel moments. It just goes to show, sometimes the things that scare us a little end up being the highlights of the trip ✨ Would you do it… or are you with me on the alligator fear? 😅👇 #everglades #evergladesnationalpark🐊 #fortlauderdale #cruisetips #cruiselife
