Cruise news today. Seventeen cars were stolen from a so-called secure cruise parking lot near the Port of Southampton earlier this month. The thefts happened September 9th and 10th at a facility that advertises locked indoor storage and 24-hour surveillance. It’s unclear how the thieves got access to so many vehicles. A mechanical issue is slowing down the Norwegian Escape, delaying its return to New York by several hours. The ship, coming back from Bermuda, is now expected to dock around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The embarkation window for today’s cruise has been pushed to between 4 and 8 p.m. Margaritaville at Sea is setting sail from Miami. The cruise line's largest ship yet, the Beachcomber, will homeport at PortMiami starting January 2027. The ship will offer 6- to 8-night Caribbean cruises, with itineraries in the Eastern, Western, and Southern regions. Bookings are now open through September 2027. Cruise line stocks for CCL, RCL, NCLH, and VIK.
