On the sixth day of our Norwegian Cruise Line Pride of America Hawaiian Islands cruise, we are in Nawiliwili on the island of Kauai. We start the day by picking up our Turo rental car right outside the cruise port and go into town to do a little shopping at the ABC store before we go on our excursion to Kauai Backcountry Adventures. There we take a tubing adventure, floating through the watering canals of what used to be a sugar plantation, followed by a nice lunch. After that we head back over to the coast to check out Anahola Beach, which might be one of the most picturesque beaches in all of Hawaii. But we quickly head up the coast from there to visit Princeville. Unfortunately there is not enough public parking in Princeville, so we turned around and went back down the coast to the cute little town of Kapa'a where we have a time-share, Pono Kai. We finish up our day on Kauai by stopping at the Coconut Marketplace to do some shopping.
