We were recently on a Disney Cruise and went to their private island in the Bahamas Castaway Cay. Before our sailing people were saying this is the best private island, but is it really. There were lots of things that we loved about Castaway Cay but also some things that we hated. So we are going to share our top 5 pros and cons. We start our Castaway Cay tips looking at the things we loved. Serenity Bay is an adult only area for guests 18 and up. There is a beautiful long beach and some crystal clear water. Some people choose to spend their entire day here. Disney Castaway Cay is not just for kids, they are also looking out for the adults. In another video we will take you on a Castaway Cay tour but we had to mention the food. It is included and there is a good variety. Not just hot dogs and hamburgers, there is also ribs and steak. As we continue our Castaway Cay pros and cons we mention some of the things we didn't love. The first is that there is no pool. There are a lot of people who are not comfortable swimming in the ocean and many private islands have a pool. So this is a need to know for many people. Another things people didn't like is how far out the snorkeling was. We were surprised the Castaway Cay snorkeling requires people to swim that far. Castaway Cay Disney is a great island for kids and adults. You can choose how you want to spend your day and how long you want to be on the island for.
