Creator's Key Takeaways
I have nothing bad to say about a crew I have some comments on guests on board so our only sort of gripe I should say is our only sort of gripe is the main dining room situation
it's been a really good sea day I haven't been unwell which is a positive you know considering canaries the other week
the champagne reception was really cool um really fancy how they did the champagne reception and it was really nice that they got guests involved

Welcome to the first sea day of our Discovery Princess Alaska 2023 cruise series. In this video I wake up early and head out to explore the top decks of Discovery Princess. There is a lot of weather talk as the weather changes super quickly We enjoy our breakfast, lunch and dinner in the MDR and discuss the queue situation on an evening. There is lots to do onboard a Princess cruise on a sea day and we spent quite a bit of time in the theatre with enrichment talks and the axe throwing competition and lumberjack talk. In the evening we got ready for the Captain's champagne waterfall reception where champagne was free flowing and we try to spot whales as we head towards our first port of Ketchikan, Alaska Join us for the next video when we dock in Ketchikan and explore what our first Alaskan port has to offer. We sailed on Discovery Princess in late June 2023 on a 7 night inside passage roundtrip cruise from Seattle, WA. We visited: π Ketchikan π Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier (scenic cruising) π Juneau π Skagway π Victoria, Canada
