It's the start of a brand new Disney Cruise Line series!!! We are doing the 7 Night Norwegian Fjords Disney Cruise on the Disney Fantasy! This was filmed 15th September 2025 - 22nd September 2025 and this was the itinerary! Pre-Embarkation Day Eastleigh Holiday Inn Day 1 Embarkation Day in Southampton Day 2 Day at Sea Day 3 Day at Sea Day 4 Olden Day 5 Alesund Day 6 Stavanger Day 7 Day at Sea Day 8 Disembarkation Day in Southampton It's our first time in Norway!!!! In this vlog we visit Alesund Norway! We show you things to do in Alesund without having an excursion! We show you what you can do close to port. I start the vlog off on the balcony with a view of a foggy Alesund. I show you where we are on a map and then head off the ship. We follow the green footprints as there is a simple path from the ship into town. We follow the path into town and look at the architecture, do some shopping, grab some souvenirs. We check out the Norwegian supermarket for Norway chocolate. We then go through the park to find the Fjellstua hike up mount Aksla. This hike has 418 steps to the top, it does not take long at all and it has an amazing viewpoint from the top of Alesund and the ship! There's a cafe at the top where we grab hot drinks while we wait for the rain to clear up! The rain stops and we descend mt Aksla. We look around the town of Alesund some more. We have a quest to find a bakery to try authentic Norwegian school bread but we are unsuccessful! We look around the harbour where there are brightly coloured buildings and statues. We then head back to the ship, I show you everything I bought in the shops and then we warm up by grabbing some hot drinks at Vista Cafe on board. it's Animator's Palate for dinner.
