Take a tour of the beautiful Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas cruise ship! Explore the ship, deck by deck, through the collection of videos and photos we took during our Western Caribbean cruise on the ship. You can also discover various activities and fun that are offered on-board. Start on Deck 5 where you will board the Allure on embarkation day. This deck is headlined by the Royal Promenade, a collection of clubs (Boleros, On Air Club), places to get snacks (Cafe Promenade & Sorrento's Pizza), bars (Bow & Stern, Champagne Bar, Rising Tide) & shops (Regalia, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Solera, etc). Plus you can have nice photo-ops with Dreamworks characters such as Trolls, King Julien, Alex & others from the Madagascar movies. The jogging/running track plus the Silk main dining room are also on this level. Deck 4 is about entertainment. The ship's theater, the Amber Theater, is located there where shows like Mama Mia & Blue Planet are performed. The Blaze night club, a Jazz club, the comedy club, Studio B (Ice Skating Rink), and the Casino are also here. The main dining room on this deck is called the Grande. Right next to it is Izumi, the Japanese Teppanaki specialty restaurant. Deck 3 holds the lower level of the theater & Studio B, plus the American Icon main dining room. Deck 2 is pretty much a crew-only area- you would only traverse through it when going/returning from ports if the gangway is located there. Going back up to Deck 6, the outdoor Boardwalk is the main attraction. You can eat doughnuts, hot dogs, ice cream, take a ride on the merry-go-around, play in the arcade, drink at the Sabor Bar, or watch a great show at the Aqua Theater. Johnny Rockets is also located here (tip- you can eat there free for breakfast). On Deck 7, at the back of the ship, you can try out rock climbing. And if you are staying in a suite, you could be invited to a party at the ship's bow as well, located on this level. Deck 8 holds the Central Park, full of live plants including flowers & trees which is pretty amazing on a cruise ship. Park Cafe is a great place to have some quality snacks. There are also numerous for-pay specialty restaurants located here as well. Deck 9 & 10 are mainly cabins, though the Dazzles lounge, which spans 2 stories, is located here. On Deck 11 there is the ship's library, plus the Diamond Club for high-level loyalty guests. Deck 12 is all cabins, while there is no deck 13 for superstition reasons. Deck 14 is the Allure's kid's cub Adventure Ocean. You can also access a "secret" sun deck from here for great views. The Seven Hearts Card Room is also on this level. Deck 15 is the pool deck that has several pools and hot tubs. The adults-only Solarium area at the front of the ship is a great place to relax and get some sun. You can also eat at the Solarium Cafe nearby for breakfast & lunch. Same goes with the Wipeout Cafe towards the back of the ship, where the basketball court & mini-golf courses are located. On deck 16, if you are feeling more adventurous, you can try out surfing on the Flowriders, or take a zipline over the Boardwalk area 12 stories down. The ship's buffet, Windjammers, is also on this deck. Here were some our additional experiences to note aboard the Allure: The cabin ======== -plenty of storage space -very shallow sink -only shower gel in shower -antiquated alarm clock with old 40 pin apple connectors -location a bit confusing Food ====== -excellent good main dining room service (Aleksander from Macedonia & Diana from Russia) -MDR food similar to Norwegian Escape, perhaps a bit inferior -Buffet was inferior to Norwegian escape -Not many good dining choices after 9 PM when the windjammer buffet closes; NCL escape much superior with O'Sheehans Entertainment ============= -excellent entertainment overall -Mama Mia was best show we have ever seen at sea -ice skating show Ice Games was delightful and fun; guest star lady on gymnastics ring was amazing Disembarkation ================ -disembarkation at the cruise port took an hour of standing in line Thanks for watching and please feel free to comment/ask questions!
