From the port of Puerto Madryn, Argentina, we visted the UNESCO World Heritage Site of The Valdes Peninsula, a site of scientific importance for their breeding colonies of Southern Right Whales and Southern Sea Lions. We saw SO many incredible animals along with Patagonia's stunning flat countryside. We visited Caleta Valdes Visitor Centre, Caleta Valdes and Piramides. We drove on the isthmus between the Gulf of San Jose and the Gulf of Nuevo. We saw Southern Sea Lions Magellanic Penguins Southern Elephant Seals Mara Rhea Guanaco It was an incredible day and our first time seeing Mara, Guanaco and Elephant Seals.
