Anthem of the Seas: Bayonne, NJ Departure on May 3rd, 2018

On May 3rd, 2018 the second Quantum Class cruise ship, the Anthem of the Seas, began her first 9 night Bermuda & Caribbean sailing of the summer season. Leaving promptly, even a few minutes early just before 4PM she started on her journey. On her way out she passed under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge before sailing by Coney Island. With a 4PM departure time the sights of NYC and the area around it are visible for the full departure. As she finished her departure and prepared for open water the pilot departed through the use of a Pilot Boat, but was also met by a larger Pilot Ship to help coordinate operations from out at sea.
