In this video we walk off the MSC cruise ship in Barcelona and explore the city without a ship excursion. We compare the cruise shuttle vs taxi, head straight to Las Ramblas, shop the FC Barcelona official store, visit Plaça Reial, the Gothic Quarter, and make our way to La Sagrada Família before ending the day at Barceloneta Beach and the W Hotel. We’re traveling as a family of five plus grandma, so you’ll see how we handle taxis, bathroom stops (hello, McDonald’s & Starbucks 😅), street performers, and keeping everyone happy while still seeing the big sights. At the end, we cut it a little too close getting back to the ship… we were literally some of the last people to board.
