'BIG VISITING ENGINES' at the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway - August 2019

July was for Small Visiting Engines, August was the Big ones. The Eastleigh Lakeside Railway held its annual 'BIG VISITING ENGINES WEEKEND' on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August 2019. A selection of four guest locomotives graced the railway over the two days with one member of the Home Fleet joining on the Sunday. The locomotives featured are as follows... - MVR 2-8-0 No.19 "Athelstan" (from the Moors Valley Railway) - MVR 'Fairlie' 0-4-2+4T "Aurora" (from the Moors Valley Railway) - GCR 8K-class 2-8-0 No.102 (from the Simkins Family) - LMSR 'Royal Scot'-class 4-6-0 No.46100 "Royal Scot" (from the Ingfield Light Railway) - LMSR 'Royal Scot'-class 4-6-0 No.6100 "Royal Scot" (Home Fleet) Sequences featured are as follows...
