We arrived in NYC for the launch of the newest ship in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet - Carnival Venezia. Is this a newly built ship? No, it is one of three ships that are being rebranded from the Italian line, Costa into ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style’. (the other two are Luminosa - currently sailing in Alaska and Fierenze - begins sailing from Long beach in 2024). The launch party was hosted onboard the ship at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. It was MC’ed by John Heald - Carnival’s Brand Ambassador with special guests Christine Duffy - Carnival’s President and Jay Leno - Venezia’s godfather. This included a cocktail party, dinner, the naming ceremony and ship dedication and a hour of stand up comedy performed by Jay Leno… what a night! We also got to hang out with fellow YouTube channels: ParoDeeJay, The Shiplife, How We Cruise, Cruising For Food, Alanna Zingano and Have Luggage Will Travel. The next morning we boarded the ship for the first USA sailing which was a 4-day cruise to Bermuda. After settling into our cabin and grabbing a bite to eat for lunch, it was time to sail away from NYC! Well, after everyone onboard checked in to their Muster Station anyway! Sailing from Manhattan provides the most incredible skyline we have ever seen from a port city! Seeing the iconic buildings of Downtown NYC, sailing past the Statue of Liberty and sailing underneath the Verrazano Bridge were all incredible and something we will not forget! All while our cruise director MarQ and his Fun Squad kept us entertained and dancing at the Sail Away Party. We stayed up on the upper decks watching the city get smaller and smaller before going inside the ship for the evening. We end the evening at Bonsai Sushi having one of our favorite meals on any Carnival cruise ship! #CarnivalVenezia #CarnivalCruiseLine #CarnivalCruise Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow! *Download our 101 Cruise Tips* http://bit.ly/3JfY0Rd *Check out our travel & camera gear on Amazon* https://www.amazon.com/shop/eecctravels This link has all of the camera gear we use to create our videos!!
