"Boudicca" & "Saga Sapphire" in Southampton Docks - 18/10/2013

When cruise ships visit Southampton, they usually arrive early morning and then depart late afternoon/evening. But on Friday 18th October 2013, the day saw one arrival and one departure at around the same time as Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Boudicca" arrived at the 'City' Terminal from finishing her previous cruise in Belfast. She was assisted by the tug "Lomax". Her arrival had delayed the departure of Saga Holidays' "Saga Sapphire" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal til around 17:00. P&O Cruises' "Azura" was also in port at the 'Ocean' Terminal, but a few technical problems delayed her departure until 20:45. Prior to the arrival of "Boudicca" was the departure of the cargo ship "Karin Schepers" & the arrival of the Grimaldi car carrier "Grande Roma". Viewed from Town Quay.
