Brilliant Lady: The Roundabout Tour (4K)
YouTube Video Descriptionβ
When Virgin Voyages decided to set sail they wanted to change the rules of cruising. As other lines keep pushing for bigger and bigger in every aspect from the size of the ships themselves to the central space Virgin went the opposite way. They've built a ship that's small by the standards of the modern ships being built and even within it the individual spaces are on average far smaller and more intimate than is found on a typical mass market vessel. This is true of the central atrium known as The Roundabout as well. It spans just 2 decks from deck 6 to 7 with a staircase that curves around 3/4 of the space. Below the actual Roundabout on deck 5 is the location of Sailor Services for guests to get assistance with any of their needs while onboard. The lower level of the Roundabout on deck 6 features the On The Rocks bar and lounge surrounding the back of the stair case. Aft of the area is the High Street shopping area where the majority of Brilliant Lady's retail venues are located including the logo shop. Directly across of the staircase of the Roundabout are a series of beauty shops including a men's barber shop, women's beauty shop, and the Viking Voyages Band Shop. The top level of the Roundabout on deck 7 features a series of open venues that flow into the space. When Scarlet Lady returned from her dry dock this area was redesigned to better accommodate gathering and the function of the venues. Directly across from the top of the Roundabout stairs is a new lounge area while the Chart Room shifted towards the Ground Club and became rebranded as the Shore Things area. This venue also features a scale model of Brilliant Lady. Next to these two areas is Get Lost which serves as the lines future cruise booking area. Virgin Vinyl has been removed creating more seating areas along with a new location to hold activities. Next to that is the Draught Haus, the onboard brewery with a more open layout. Heading aft on the port side guests find two of the most popular dining venues onboard. Lick Me Till...Ice Cream features freshly made ice creams in a variety of unique flavors that are equally matched by the variety of cone options available. Behind that is then The Pizza Place were made to order personal pizzas are available throughout the day and into the late hours of the night.
