When ported in Athens (Piraeus), Greece you will want to visit one of the main attractions, the Acropolis (Parthenon) and if you do not want to spend 40+ Euro to travel each way, the city bus or Metro rail is a great way to get there. We have taken both and are inexpensive methods of travel. The bus stop is just a few minute walk from Terminal B and shorter from A, just out the gate. All day pass is just over 4 Euro and gives you access to the bus, rail, and trolleys and is also a great way to see the city. Bus 040 takes around 40-45 minutes from the cruise port stop to the Acropolis, X80 around 30 minutes. Metro Rail is very easy to use as well, but requires a bus or UBER ride from Piraeus station to the cruise terminal. If you have questions of comments, leave your comment below.
