About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
After leaving the port area of Puntarenas, our bus continued inland toward the small town of Orotina, and the scenery quickly started to change. The coastal views gave way to lush countryside filled with thick green forests, rolling hills, and farmland that seemed to stretch for miles. Along the way we passed little roadside stands selling fresh fruit, especially mangos and pineapples, which the region is well known for. Our guide pointed out different crops growing in the fields and talked about how agriculture plays a big role in the local economy. Every now and then weβd drive through tiny villages with colorful homes, small churches, and local shops where people were just going about their day. The ride felt relaxed and scenic, giving us a great look at rural Costa Rica as we made our way toward Orotina. #bus #puntarenas #orotina #costarica
