We found ourselves with an overnight stop in Cairns and decided to check out Paronella Park which is about an hour and 20 mins south of Cairns. We hired a car from Jucy Rentals at Portsmith which was about 10 minutes walk from the terminal and drove their ourselves. Paronella Park is a great day out with a fascinating history.
