Ca'Nigra Boutique Hotel Venice

LA BELLA VENEZIA I would like to do an addendum to my wonderful 3 nights on board #SilverNova.  Due to Easyjet cancelling my flight back from Venice to Gatwick on Sunday 13th, I had ended up booking myself an overnight at the #CarltonGrandCanal.  #Silversea kindly laid on a water taxi private transfer from Venice Cruise Terminal to the hotel.  It was so hot and busy due to the time of year I sought the advice of Reception who suggested a wander to the #JewishQuarter (where I had never been before).  Whilst possibly not the place to go if you want to 'shop' and see the main sights, it's an absolute gem of an area if you want to soak in the beauty of Venice in peace and quiet.  Absolutely gorgeous and I'd thoroughly recommend a visit to this area.  It didn't reduce the temperature, but I spent a wonderful couple of hours wandering and then escaped back to the aircon in t In the evening I went for a short pre-dinner wander around the immediate vicinity of my hotel and stumbled across an absolute little gem of a property, accessed via one of the walkways but with it's beautiful garden backing right onto the Grand Canal - FABULOUS location and just 22 individually designed suites in this boutique hotel.  Would make an incredible venue for a special event, celebrating with friends/family. #boutiquehotel #venicehotels #honeymoon #corporate #canigralagoonresort #canigra #weddingvenues #businessmeetings
