Join us as we uncover all of the fun - Italian Style - that’s going to appear on the new Carnival Firenze! On Monday, December 12, 2022, Carnival Cruise Lines president, Christine Duffy, hosted a press event to unveil changes being made to two Costa ships joining the Carnival Fleet. She detailed what was coming to Carnival Venezia as the cruise ship prepares to set sail for Carnival Cruise Lines in May of 2023 out of her New York home port. With the announcement of bookings opening up for Carnival Firenze, her new deck plans were released! We dug deep into the deck plans of Costa Firenze, Carnival Firenze, Carnival Venezia, and even sister class ships Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon, and Carnival Panorama to do a side-by-side comparison. There are a lot of spaces that appear on this Vista-class cruise ships that we already know and love, like Bonsai Sushi, the expansive mini golf course, and Serenity adults-only retreat. Many of the other public spaces feature Italian designs, with several new dining options, the rebranded Guy’s Burger Joint, a new Mexitalian Fusion restaurant (Tomodoro), new upcharge Italian restaurant (Il Viaggio) an unexpected location for JavaBlue Café, and a departure from brand-favorite Alchemy in favor of a new bar!
