Today is day 2 on the Carnival Glory and we are stopping at Celebration Key. If you don't know yet, Carnival's newest private beach is Celebration Key and it's claim to fame is that it has the largest freshwater lagoon (pool) in the Caribbean. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. If you watch my videos, you know that I like to cruise on the cheap. With that being said, Celebration Key seems to be a cash grab for Carnival. And I hate to say that because I love Carnival. The drink package does not work on the island, yet there are plenty of bars with empty seats, probably because the drink package doesn't work on the island. And you get one free meal. However, if you are still hungry, you have the option of paying for another meal. But if you want to just go lounge and play in the pool, then it is perfect. There are plenty of chairs and some even have umbrellas. They are first come, first serve. The cabanas are a little overpriced in my opinion, costing $740 for the few hours you are on the island. The aesthetics are nice, but I feel that Carnival could have made it so much more. It's time to check out Celebration Key — a new destination from Carnival, nestled on the south side of Grand Bahama island, that's designed exclusively for Carnival guests.
