6th in our Carnival Horzion 2024 Series! #funderstruck #carnivalcruise #carnivalhorizon #funship #carnivalcruiselines 11/14/24 Day 6! Wow, just wow! We did the AB version of the ABC Cruise a couple years ago but didn't get to stop at Curaçao. We started off with a great breakfast and towel animal day!!! Love it! We got off and rented a car and headed right away to Playa Grandi to swim with sea turtles. Glad we went right away as it got busy pretty quick but we had a good half hour of chill turtle time before the tours got there. After that we headed to Grote Knip, one of the most scenic beaches in the Caribbean. Cliff Diving had a small margin for error as tide was out so we just snorkeled and swam and enjoyed the perfectness! Then one more beach, Playa Lagun, for swimming and snorkeling. Just a nice secluded area and cheap beer. We then looked at flamingos in Williwood. After that we had to be headed back for the swinging bridge and downtown. We returned the rental car and walked over...just missing the bridge swinging open so we took the ferry to the other side. Got some nice souvenir deals before walking the bridge back. Only complaint is we stayed so long at Aruba and Bonaire but wished we had the same here as it was epic. Another Guy's Burger and some swim and hot tub time before dinner and an early bedtime.
