Carnival Imagination Tour, Entertainment & Food (4K)

Take a deck-by-deck tour of the Carnival Imagination cruise ship! Also see what entertainment (live music, singers/dancers, comedy, etc) plus various food options to expect. The decks we cover include: Deck 7: Where you would embark the ship into the Grand Atrium with spiral stair cases and glass elevators & a large bar; this is also where the shore excursions & customer service desk is located Deck 6: Cabins only deck where our ocean view stateroom was located Deck 10: The Lido Pool deck and where the ship's casual eateries are located (Guys' Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Horizon buffet, Pizza Pirate & Deli). Deck 11: Several fun slides are located at the back of the ship, the taller ones of which you would get on via Deck 12. There is also a shuffleboard court and a ping pong table, and Camp Ocean, Carnival's kid's club. Deck 12: The Spa and Fitness Center/Gym are located at the front of the ship here. At the back of the ship is where you would climb into the sliders that go down to deck 11. Deck 14: There is a fun Miniature Golf course here and a walking/jogging track Deck 8: The ship's 2 main dining room, the Spirit & the Pride are located here, as well as a library where you can play board games, & Piano Bar 88 lounge. This is also the lower level of the Dynastay Lounge, the Carnival Imagination's theater where most of the entertainment & shows take place. Melissa, the ship's cruise director, was terrific and very friendly- one of the best cruise directors we've seen on cruises. Deck 9: There is the Alchemy bar and the Xanadu Lounge here. The latter is the venue for Punchliner Comedy Club- excellent for some good laughs. We try our best to go to every show there. On Deck 9 there is also a couple of other lounges, a candy store, a sushi stand, and the ship's casino as well. Here you can also enter the upper level of the theater. Deck 4: A cabins only deck Deck 3: A crew-only deck, or for guests going out on ports on land or via tender boat. Here we show our cruise ship tender boat ride to and from Avalon, Catalina, and while docked at Ensenada, Mexico. As you can see in our vlog clips we quite enjoyed the cruise, especially with the holiday festivities Carnival had on the ship. Our review verdict- the ship is showing her age, but the food was good (especially in the main dining room) and the entertainment was fun. So we definitely recommend going on an Ensenada cruise aboard the Imagination- you should have a great time as long as you don't have high expectations regarding the ship's facilities & cabins.
