Carnival Legend in Alaska Endicott Arm Cruising Past Holland America Amsterdam (4K)

During our 2017 Alaska cruise aboard the Holland America MS Amsterdam, we encountered the Carnival Legend sailing by in the Endicott Arm fjord near the Dawes Glacier. It is not very far from Juneau- maybe about 30 miles away. Many of the guests of the Legend were gathered outside for the beautiful scenery as the two cruise ships passed by one another. The captains of both ships kept both vessels at a safe distance, but we were still able to get a nice view of the Carnival ship. Both ships were supposed to visit Tracy Arm but the conditions there were too frozen up, so we went down the Endicott Arm instead.
