After a beautiful first few days at sea, the Carnival Mardi Gras abruptly made a sharp turn around. Her crew had spotted what appeared to be a sinking ship. And they weren't wrong! They indeed had sailed upon a vessel that was destined for the bottom of the ocean. The crew took to action searching with spot lights & informing the coast guard. After no survivors were seen, Mardi Gras continued on to San Juan Puerto Rico as planned.
